Multi-Sport Coach - Wiltshire

The Sports Development team are looking to recruit Multi-Sports Coaches for current and upcoming community sports projects running across Wiltshire.

LIVE∙WORK∙INNOVATE

We strive to ensure all our customers have an enjoyable experience within our sporting programmes across Wiltshire.

Our teams all work hard together to improve the health and wellbeing of the community, especially those who traditionally lack opportunities to become involved in sport and physical activity.

About the role

We are looking for dynamic individuals to deliver structured community sport sessions working with a variety of audiences which are designed to meet the needs of our customers and engage with specific target groups such as women and girls, lower socio-economic groups and individuals with disabilities, in line with standards set out in within our normal operating procedures.

The successful applicants will be able to engage and deliver sessions to individuals who previously identified as being inactive and ensure they are retained within the project.

As a Multi-Sports coach you will maintain excellent customer focus at all times, meeting customer expectations and therefore ensuring repeat business. This will include being available to the customers both before and after the sessions to answer queries, motivate and guide.

About you

Do you have the right qualifications, excellent communication skills along with experience of customer care within a leisure/community sport environment? If so, we would like to hear from you.

You should possess a valid level 2 sports coaching qualification recognised by the relevant national governing body.

Flexibility to cover holidays and sickness at short notice will be required. Depending upon the individual there may be further opportunities to coach other group fitness exercise classes and progress further with on-going continued personal development.

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults.
