Working Hours: Casual
Salary: Level 1 ASA or STA – £8.54 per hour + Excellent Benefits
Level 2 ASA or STA - £10.03 per hour + Excellent Benefits
As part of the Shropshire Community Leisure Trust, Shrewsbury Sports Village are currently recruiting for a Swimming Teacher to work casual hours as and when the site requires. The role can involve working earlies, lates and weekends. There is flexibility for when these lessons take place so your shifts can also be flexible.
Key Purpose of the role?
In the role of the Swimming Teacher You will be involved working with a range of age groups who vary from age 3 up until adults. Each session will contain swimmers of mixed ability from beginners to advance.
You will be responsible for the safety and skill advancement of the pupils within your care.
What are we looking for?
We are looking for someone who has previous experience of working within the leisure environment with the ability to set and achieve high standards of cleanliness and personal presentation as well as excellent communication and customer service skills. You should also have a good awareness of Health & Safety policies and procedures.
Please note: We can only consider applications who hold a professional swimming qualification equivalent to the Amateur Swimming Association Level 1 or 2.
