Business Applications Analyst - Hoburne Park Holiday Park

Located on the outskirts of Christchurch, Hoburne head office is now looking for a Business Applications Analyst to join their friendly team.

A rare and exciting opportunity to make a significant difference to the progress of a growing and varied business. Working within the IT team of Hoburne, this role is key to the future development and deployment of our strategic business applications.

We are seeking someone who is enthusiastic about delivering both technology and business change, having previous engagements both in the capacity of business applications and integration support as well as experience of data and project management.  You will be a good communicator and have experience of dealing with third parties. 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Responsible for the operational support of Business Applications and Integrations (ParcVu, MS Navision, Zonal, Hoburne Websites, HR & Payroll systems, Employee benefits platform)
  • Project manages key business change IT related projects
  • Manages third party suppliers effectively
  • Plays a lead role in the development and deployment of new business application solutions and integrations
  • Contributes to continuous improvement by challenging and identifying opportunities to optimise the use of existing systems and promoting efficiencies
  • Manages key operational data sets, delivers improved data integrity, performs data analytics

Key requirements:

 

  • Experience of development and deployment of commercial business applications, in a small to medium sized business environment
  • Exposure to integration and middleware technologies
  • An understanding of both underlying technical architectures, and commercial impacts
  • Experience of SQL, database design and scripting
  • Capability to deliver business requirements, process and technical documentation
  • Understanding of standard project delivery utilising both waterfall and agile methodologies
  • At least two of the following development languages, in capacity of developer
  • C#, Java, JavaScript/Ecmascript, Python, php
  • Exposure of working with cloud based platforms and services (Azure / AWS )
  • Good understanding of developing and working with XML and JSON technologies
  • Exposure to analytics, reporting and data management lifecycle
  • Passionate about unlocking the potential of the business through technology and delivering a great customer experience

Occasional travel will be required to other Hoburne locations in the south of England.

This is a full time permanent role offering a salary of circa £35,000 PA
