An exceptional opportunity to develop your career within this prestigious 5 star hotel. The Head Chef within Fine Dining has the freedom to develop the menus working with fresh, seasonal produce and learning from our brilliant Executive Chef Chris Mouyiassi.

 

The role offers the opportunity to achieve a work-life balance with 2 consecutive days off each week.

 

 

Head Chef: Responsibilities:

 

  • Working in our 2 Rosette Wernher Restaurant, leading in development of 3 Rosette standard
  • Reporting to the Executive Chef, accountable for the day to day running of the fine dining kitchen operation
  • Ensure all food safety and health and safety reporting is up to date and compliant
  • Assist in the recruitment and development of the kitchen team
  • Create and deliver seasonal menus, sourcing quality produce.
  • Attend management meetings, deputising for the Executive Chef when needed

 

Head Chef Attributes and Experience

 

  • Experience in 4-5 Star hotel kitchens would be preferred
  • NVQ level 1&2 or similar. Level 3 beneficial
  • Basic or Intermediate Food Hygiene certificate
  • Able to produce and deliver menus of fine dining level and quality
  • Excellent communication skills, confident to run service and train the team.
