JobSummary

  1. Manage the day-to-day golf operation across thedepartment.

  2. Manage Golf associates, ensuring they provide ahospitable environment for all members, visitors and hotel residents

  3. Ensure that financial targets areattained and that customer satisfaction is achieved

  4. To contribute to retail policy andstock ordering, to maximize revenue potential

  5. To assist in general shop andservice-related duties

  6. To ensure training and development of golf shopassociates is carried out

  7. To perform all banking as required and in linewith cash handling policy.

Additional Duties
Transport clubs to/fromguest vehicles and/or group buses. Pick up and drop off guest golf bags at bagdrop. Provide directions to golfers to golf-related areas. Assist golfers withcarts and equipment. Distribute score cards and pencils to golfers. Remove golfcarts from storage area and stage for play. Remove rental clubs for use byguests, and clean and store after use. Store, clean, tag, and organize guestclubs in bag room storage. Clean, detail, restock golf carts after each use.Document any golf cart damage and deficiency for mechanic's review. Maintaincleanliness of golf-related areas. Maintain lines of communication with golfshop to ensure efficiency of course operations and guest satisfaction.Setup/reset/break down practice stations. Pick up/wash balls from practicefacility. Ensure the security of all golf equipment in storage. Notifymanager/supervisor of any important issues as necessary.

Follow all company andsafety and security policies and procedures; report any maintenance problems, safetyhazards, accidents, or injuries; complete safety training and certifications.Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional. Maintainconfidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets. Support allco-workers and treat them with dignity and respect. Support team to reachcommon goals. Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards. Move,lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50pounds without assistance. Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of timeor for an entire work shift. Read and visually verify information in a varietyof formats (e. g., small print). Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines(e. g., to identify defects). Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varyingsize and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination. Reachoverhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, andstooping. Move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces and steps. Move upand down stairs and/or service ramps. Welcome and acknowledge all guestsaccording to company standards. Speak with others using clear and professionallanguage, and answer telephones using appropriate etiquette. Perform otherreasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.
