Aquatics Lead - Macclesfield Leisure Centre

Salary Grade G: GBP 23,632 per annum

Hours of work: 37 hours per week

We're looking for an inspirational teacher and/or swimming coordinator who's looking to take that next step in their Aquatics career and push our already successful scheme to the next level.  You'll join a highly talented and committed team eager to develop both the programme and themselves - amongst them we're extremely proud to have two Swim England National Swim Teachers of the Year.

Within this role you'll be responsible for co-ordinating our 'Everybody SWIM' products including the Learn to Swim Scheme at our Macclesfield Leisure Centre.  Each week you'll ensure excellent services are delivered to our customers, spending half your time coordinating and the other half delivering swimming lessons on the scheme which includes school swimming.

We're a fast growing, ambitious Charitable Trust - we operate 9 pool sites across Cheshire East and since 2014 our Learn to Swim programme has grown from 5,000 to 7,800 swimmers. 'Developing our people' is close to our hearts and we attract and develop the best people to drive our business forward.  Macclesfield Leisure Centre is an extremely successful site and key to our future success.  It's currently undergoing a multi-million pound refurbishment across the fitness suite, studios and pool changing areas, as well as brand new sauna and steam room facilities.

You'll need to be a qualified Level 2 Swimming Teacher to take on this role, ideally with some experience of coordinating a swim scheme (however large or small), and as a great communicator who's keen to succeed you'll build strong relationships, inspiring others to bring their best to work every day.  Further information is available in the job profile.
