Cleaner | Basingstoke Aquadrome

Working hours: 15 hours

Salary: Up to £8.21 per hour, £4,602.00 to £6,403.80 per annum

An exciting opportunity has arisen as we’re currently recruiting for a cleaner to work 15 hours per week between Monday to Friday 6pm to 9pm, however we can be flexible. 

Basingstoke Aquadrome has a wide range of facilities offering an excellent choice of sporting and leisure activities.  The facilities include a fitness suite, swimming pool with flumes, rapids and splash pools.  There is also a workout studio, health suite and café.  The Aquadrome is open from 6 am to 10 pm Monday to Friday and 7 am to 8 pm Saturday and Sunday. 

Purpose of Role

As the site cleaner the primary element of your role is to undertake a range of cleaning duties within the leisure facility whilst maintaining high standards of cleanliness ensuring the welfare and safety of customers.

What are we looking for?

• NVQ level 2 in cleaning is desirable
• Good communication and customer care skills
• Health & safety awareness
• Good attention to detail, with a strong work ethic and a commitment to standards
• The ability to use your own initiative and prioritise your own work load
• Experience of working in a similar role or environment is essential, although full on the job training will be given
