Joe's Kitchen York is looking a brilliant Assistant Manager to join the team!


As an Assistant Manager you will have shared ownership for the success of business by driving the business forward and managing your team to be the best they can be.

Quite simply it’s about being brilliant all of the time!

With your team as your main focus, you will recruit, train and develop them and ensure that they are treated with fairness and equality in line with our Company policies and ethos.

Your team will join the brand but will ultimately work for you and therefore as a business leader their engagement and development is of paramount importance. You are expected to do everything you can to ensure that they receive the best training possible, encouraging them to master their roles and creating an environment that is fun, where they can enjoy coming to work and giving our guests a great experience.
Communication is a key leadership behaviour which should be used to motivate your team through regular management and team meetings.
You will also communicate effectively with the internal support teams to ensure that good relationships are maintained. You are responsible for the motivation of your team through recognition, positive feedback and the implementation of incentives schemes which fulfil the team’s motivational needs.

By ensuring all this takes place you can develop a team that will look after their guests and ensure everyone has great time!
