We are LEGOLAND Discovery Centre and SEA LIFE Manchester and we are part of the magical Merlin Entertainments!

Right now, we are recruiting for some exciting positions across our customer service departments based in the iconic Trafford Centre in the most amazingly fun environment you can imagine! We have vacancies for a number of Guest Experience, Admissions, Food and Beverage and Retail Hosts to help deliver amazing guest experiences.

About the roles

First and foremost these are guest facing roles to support and engage with guests at both our attractions, offering an exceptional experience to each visitor via excellent customer service.

Guest Experience Host

Working as part of our attractions team at either one of our sites, you will go out of your way to ensuring our guests have a fun, educational and exciting visit. You could find yourself helping customers at any point throughout the attraction, perhaps within our 4D cinema experience or whilst delivering one of our regular talks. You may be interacting with guests at our rock hideout area at SEA LIFE or safely assisting them to enjoy our rides, entertainment, or LEGO workshops at our Discovery Centre. A confident communicator, you'll be happy to help with guests’ queries and questions and engage with visitors of all ages.

Admissions Host

In this role you will be the first point of contact for our guests, offering a warm welcome, selling and checking tickets, answering any questions guests may have, acting as a sales representative and be the driving force for our Annual Pass sales and duel attraction Combi-ticket sales for the year.

You will need to maintain a high level of presentation, be happy to use our ticketing system and be confident in dealing with cash and credit card payments at both locations.

Food and Beverage Host

This is a busy guest-facing role in which you will deliver service to the highest standard, ensuring we exceed the expectations of our guests through efficient food preparation, production and service. You will ensure all areas are kept clean and well stocked, working well within the team to promote a culture of fun in order to deliver excellent guest service.

Retail Host

Whether selling a memento of our guests amazing experience or supporting them to stock up on SEA LIFE related goodies or the latest LEGO set, you'll have the confidence to suggest products that our guests may want to purchase or be on hand to assist our customers with any queries they may have. You'll always strive to boost revenue and smash daily targets while demonstrating fantastic customer service. Ideally you will have prior experience of working in a retail environment as well as upselling to every guest every time.

These roles are Part Time and offered on a Seasonal contract, working a variety of shifts including weekends and bank holidays as required. They will include school holidays and flexibility will be required as times and dates of shifts may vary.

About you

It goes without saying that you'll have loads of experience working in a customer facing environment that puts the customer at the heart of everything. You'll be able to demonstrate how your customer service skills are second to none and that you're a natural when it comes to interacting with people of all ages. You will also need to be flexible and highly-self-motivated in order to remain focused in this fast paced and fun environment.

 Whichever department you choose to apply to at either the SEA LIFE Centre or the LEGOLAND Discovery Centre, you will have strong communication skills coupled with the ability to interact with our guests, plenty of enthusiasm and energy, and be a reliable team player.

About the benefits

We offer the following rates of pay;

• Under 18: £6.50/hr
• 18 to 24: £7.75/hr
• 25+ £8.26/hr
