The Leeds Bradford is the perfect destination for guests who are about to embark on their holidays from the local Airport. We boast 137 modern bedrooms and provide a 24-hour Reception service for those late-night arrivals. Due to continued expansion, we are looking to recruit a Full Time Housekeeping Supervisor/Room Checker to join our team.

As Housekeeping Supervisor/Room Checker you will be required to;

  • Effectively manage the department to ensure cleanliness of all public areas, bedrooms and corridors.
  • Ensure all housekeeping reports, including daily discrepancy reports are given to the General Manager.
  • Liaise effectively with reception to ensure all out of order rooms, room move and room allocations are processed correctly.
  • Recruit, train and develop all housekeeping staff.
  • Ensure adequate control of linen and to liaise with the laundry to ensure adequate available stocks.
  • Collect keys and work paper, ensuring all keys are signed for.
  • Communicate clean and checked bedrooms to reception.
  • Achieve the highest standards to meet our guest’s expectations.
  • Log all Maintenance jobs on Opera (Property Management System) found during room checking process.
  • Clean front of house and rooms on some days.
  • Carry out any other duties and responsibilities as may be required.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 1 year’s previous similar experience as Housekeeping Supervisor in hotel containing 100 bedroom or more. You will be able to work effectively under pressure and to deadlines. You will be required to work 24 hours per week.
