Swimming Teacher/Instructor - Various London Locations

Full & Part time | £23.00 per hour

A new and dynamic swim school, Nautilus Swimming based in central London is looking for full and part time instructors over its various locations from September 2019. Nautilus focuses on long term development of the swimmer and technique and swimmers age ranges from 3 years old up to and including many of London’s top competitive school teams.

Instructors will be expected to:

• Teach or coach one-to-one or in groups
• Plan and deliver sessions appropriate to the level of swimmer
• Provide explanations and demonstrate swimming techniques
• Correct faults in swimming techniques, identify ways to improve performance and record improvements
• Make sure safety standards are followed
• Organise and supervise assistants and helpers
• Deal with minor injuries and accidents.
• Expected to be in the water with students who still need manipulation with stroke
• Fallow the company swimming program

Shifts range in length and location ( Hammersmith, Holland Park, Clapham Junction or Wimbledon) , but will always include work on a Sunday (minimum of 5 hour shift)

All instructors must have a minimum of ASA level 2 or equivalent qualifications with at least one year experience.

Requirements: Swimming Teacher/Coach level 2 certificate
