Catering Supervisor - National Watersports Centre

Salary: £19,000 - £20,000 p.a.

National Water Sports Centre are looking for a full-time catering supervisor to join the team on an permanent basis.  

Reporting to the services manager, the purpose of your role will be to quality control deliver the catering operations.

This catering supervisor role will be a front, customer facing position to support the catering assistants and other departments which offer food and beverage operations to ensure that the service delivery is always high.

On a day to day basis, your duties and responsibilities will typically comprise of the following:

• Ensuring the direction and instruction from the Services Manager is delivered across the catering outlets through the site.
• Providing information, instruction and training to staff to ensure they fulfil their roles in an efficient and safe manner.
• Ensuring high standards of food hygiene, site presentation and cleanliness are maintained at all times.
• Delivering a front of house, exceptional level of service to all users across site.
• Leading from the front, and ensure the staff have a role model for exceptional customer service delivery.
• Ensuring correct staffing levels are maintained in accordance with service requirements and the business plan through the management of staff rotas and business needs in relevant areas.
• Undertake any other duties as required within the Centre as directed by your line manager – Services Manager.

It is essential that any candidates have experience and can demonstrate excellent customer care and people management skills.

Furthermore, you should hold the relevant food hygiene qualifications.
