Teacher - Musical Theatre - Whitstable, Kent

If you’re passionate about Performing Arts and an enthusiastic Musical Theatre Teacher who can work during school holiday periods, we’d love to hear from you.

We’re looking for reliable and enthusiastic Musical Theatre Teachers to deliver sessions with inspiration and patience at our Whitstable Sports Centre and the Bay Sports Arena. You’ll need to be confident and competent in teaching and performing dance choreography, singing & musical staging. You’ll also need a Level 2 or above qualification in Performing Arts and previous experience of working with children aged 5 years+.

Some of your duties will include:

• Planning and delivering musical theatre sessions that incorporate singing, dancing and acting to children aged 5 to 12 years, as part of our school holiday activities.
• Prioritising our younger customer’s participation and enjoyment.
• Ensuring that any equipment is in good order, used and correctly securely stored.
• Ensuring all policies and procedures are adhered to by yourself and those in your care, including health & safety and safeguarding procedures.
• Undertaking relevant training as and when required.
• To be able to work flexibly.
