A position has become available for a Receptionist to join the friendly team at The KP Resort and Golf Club, located close to York.

This stunning resort is a popular holiday destination due to it’s outstanding holiday accommodation, on-site facilities, golf club and our staff who are dedicated to helping our guests carve lasting memories.

The Reception team play a vital part in the running of the resort, and are key in helping us to carve lasting memories for our guests. You will join them to deal, day to day, with any enquiries and issue accommodation and information to all guests. Above all, you will work with them to provide exceptional customer service. You will play a vital role in creating these lasting memories for our guests.

Finally, you will become a key point of contact for all staff at the resort.

This is a permanent position, to work part time variable hours. This will usually be 1 day per week, however some extra hours may be required. These will include weekends and bank holidays.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle all telephone and personal enquiries courteously and promptly.
• Meet and greet all guests, with the provision of refreshments when required.
• Deal with all customer queries and complaints immediately and courteously.
• Accurate ash handling.
• Ensure all tourist information is up to date and relevant.
• Issue of accommodation keys and information to guests on arrival.

What experience you will need

• Similar previous experience is preferred.

What skills you will need

• Excellent standards of customer service are essential to this role.
• Driving licence and ability to drive is advantageous.
• Strong communication skills.
• Positive attitude with willingness to learn.
