An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our team at Penwortham Leisure Centre, who are recruiting for Casual Swimming Teachers.

Key Purpose of the Role:

In the role of the Swimming Teacher You will be involved working with a range of age groups who vary from age 3 up until adults. Each session will contain swimmers of mixed ability from beginners to advance.

You will be responsible for the safety and skill advancement of the pupils within your care.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for someone who has previous experience of working within the leisure environment with the ability to set and achieve high standards of cleanliness and personal presentation as well as excellent communication and customer service skills. You should also have a good awareness of Health & Safety policies and procedures.

It is desirable that you hold an NPLQ or National Rescue Award for Teachers and Coaches or if not that you are prepared to take this qualification as this is an essential requirement of the role.

Please note: We can only consider applicants who hold a Level 1 or Level 2 Swimming qualification.
