Rush High Wycombe – Head of Parties - 20hr Contract Includes Weekends

The Company

Rush is a young person’s dream. Its vision is to offer an exciting indoor facility for families with young children, teenagers, and young adults, providing them with an opportunity to safely participate in trampoline sports, regardless of their size or physical ability, through an effective combination of fun and entertainment, fitness and training. 

The concept is built on custom designed, interconnected trampoline playing courts stretching wall-towall across a vast area, provide an exhilarating and exciting bouncing experience that can be enjoyed by anyone, no matter what age, size, fitness level or experience. 

Rush’s first site opened in High Wycombe in December 2015 and the second site in Birmingham in November 2016. 

The Role

The Head of Parties reports to the General Manager and is responsible for successfully running a fun and safe Birthday Parties Department for children and parents ensuring all health, safety and hygiene requirements are met. The Parties Department runs up to thirty-three birthday parties on a busy Saturday and around twenty on a Sunday.  
 
Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver parties to company brand standard, ensuring customer satisfaction is met. Monitored through customer feedback questionnaire completed at the end of every party hosted. 
  • Ensuring plans are ready and everything is prepared for the weekends and weekdays.
  • Consistently delivering party training to brand standards.
  • Recruiting
  • Keeping stock checks up to date (Balloons, Plates, Cups etc)
  • Overseeing individual parties during busier periods
  • Ability to delegate to the whole team
  • Ensure that any complaints are dealt with promptly and efficiently.
  • Quickly being able to find employees to cover absent staff
  • To uphold all company health and safety requirements by completing department checklists i.e. opening and closing checklists.
  • Assist in the promotion of activities/parties and special offers by continuously communicating as and when to customers whilst working on the floor
  • Attend training workshops to improve knowledge and skills as and when requested. 
  • To make sure you are aware of competitor’s offers and activities.
  • To pro-actively sell parties, ensuring that all procedures and paperwork are correct according to company policy.
  • Drive brand standards through the facilities.
  • Monitor own KPI’s and take action to ensure targets are met.
  • Ensure the company reputation is upheld.
  • Ensure that all company policies and procedures including codes of conduct are followed.
  • Ensure you have knowledge relating to offers and activities in all departments.
  • Ensure that tables are clean and inviting for customers.
