At BreadsallPriory, Marriott Hotel and Country Club no two days are the same, with anexciting blend of guests and large events. Our hotel is a great place todevelop your skills, support weddings, prolific golf events, sports teams,extensive leisure facilities and contemporaryBritish dining at our hotelsonsite restaurants.

The role- Provide service to thehighest achievable standards to all guests dining, as set down in thedepartment's standard operating procedures

- Have full product knowledgeof all food and beverage items, in order to take guests orders and recommendproducts and services

- Clear and lay tablesthroughout and after service, to minimise guest waiting times

- Perform all banking asrequired and inline with the cash handling policy

Additional dutiesComplete closing duties, includingstoring all reusable goods, breaking down goods, cleaning all equipment andareas, returning equipment to proper locations, locking refrigerators,restocking items, turning off lights, locking doors, and completing dailycleaning checklist. Set up, stock, and maintain work areas. Inspect thecleanliness and presentation of all china, glass, and silver prior to use.Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the day, practicingclean-as-you-go procedures.

Follow all company and safetyand security policies and procedures; report any maintenance problems, safetyhazards, accidents, or injuries; complete safety training and certifications.Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional. Maintainconfidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets. Support allco-workers and treat them with dignity and respect. Support team to reachcommon goals. Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards. Move,lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50pounds without assistance. Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of timeor for an entire work shift. Read and visually verify information in a varietyof formats (e. g., small print). Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varyingsize and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination. Reachoverhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, andstooping. Move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces and steps. Move upand down stairs and/or service ramps. Welcome and acknowledge all guestsaccording to company standards. Speak with others using clear and professionallanguage, and answer telephones using appropriate etiquette. Perform otherreasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.
