Summary
We are seeking an energetic and dynamic individual to join us as a Duty Manager to work within our Vale Community Campus facility which offers a comprehensive leisure service.

We aim to provide services, projects and activities that deliver positive experiences to a wide range of people utilising sport, physical activity and active lifestyle based approaches across the county, in leisure centres, sports clubs, community facilities, schools, village halls and recreational spaces.
About the role
As Duty Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all operational and staff issues in the day to day running of the centre.
You will be undertaking a variety of roles as required to meet operational needs, acting as the primary point for solving customer and staff issues, acting as the key holder for opening/closing the centre and taking responsibility for ensuring the centre remains a safe, smart, fully functioning community space during opening hours.
Hours will cover the full operating hours of each centre; Monday to Sunday working on three week shift patterns.
About you
You will need to be innovative, energetic, an effective leader and have the ability to deal with complex customer and facilities issues.
Ideally you will hold NPLQ in pool lifeguarding, and a pool plant operator’s qualification, or be able to achieve these within three months.
Supervision of staff and 12 months experience in a customer facing role is essential.
