We have a fantastic opportunity for a Warehouse Supervisor to join our logistics operations at our brand new Distribution Centre, opening soon in Amesbury.

Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, you will be required to supervise all aspects of Warehousing, ensuring all aspects of the operation run smoothly to meet quality standards and deadlines.

Pay Rates

Salary £32,829

Shift Pattern and Contracted Hours

45 hours per week, typically 7am to 4pm

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• To supervise the despatch operation.
• To monitor performance;
• To set team targets & objectives;
• To carry out daily briefings.
• Ensure the team delivers the key requirements in line with BRC accreditation
• Ensure team members carryout their duties in line with Health and Food Safety standards and procedures
• Manage SOP’s, training and skills matrix.
• Attend cross functional meetings
• Manage sickness, lateness and absence process
• Manage team hours to agreed budget.
• Coach team members.
• Lead by example by always behaving in line with the company values.

Key Requirements

• Good interpersonal skills
• Ability to communicate and influence at all levels
• Computer literate in Microsoft packages (Excel & Word)
• Results driven
• Strong planning, organising and problem-solving skills
• Previous experience in a similar role
• Lead Team Meetings
• Enthusiasm
• Flexible in availability for working hours
• Ability to work in a chilled and frozen environment, handling food with long periods of standing, with lifting and carrying
