Contract Manager - Milton Keynes

This is an exciting position for a Contract Manager who will be responsible for the strategic development, activity participation levels and commercial success of the Milton Keynes Contract. The contract consists of 5 leisure venues, namely Woughton Leisure Centre, Woughton on the Green Playing Fields, Brooklands Community Sports Pavilion, Broughton Community Sports Pavilion and Windmill Hill Golf Club.  

We’re looking to recruit an enthusiastic leader, who can build relationships with stakeholders, team members and deliver excellent customer service, enhancing local reputation in the community. With at least 5 years multi centre management experience, ideally from a leisure environment, you’d be able to demonstrate the successes of effective and efficient management of teams, financial performance, health & safety management, communication skills and the consistent delivery of financial targets and business KPI’s.

You’d oversee the operational management of facilities ensuring all are open, clean and safe, equipment working and staff friendly and the development and delivery of a varied activity programme and range of services. We’d expect you to work collaboratively with your Council client, local clubs, schools and businesses or community groups to utilise all space or organise local community outreach activity, support or host events.
