The Lamb Inn, Edgmond is a beautiful village pub which offers great facilities in a lovely rural setting. The pub has a great reputation for home-cooked pub food andattracts residents of the surrounding villages alongside the wider area. It's also within easy driving distance to Newport. The pub is now available and there is an exciting opportunity to develop a thriving retail business offering a great menu with tailored marketing to drive it forward. The pub offers generous outdoor space which can be utilised for themed events and family days throughout the warmer months.

The Lamb currentlyoffers lots of space with a public and lounge bar where drinkers and casual diners can relax, plus an open and inviting dining area and a bright conservatory overlooking the generous beer garden. There's a separate space for functions and the catering kitchen is equipped to deal with around 110 covers in total. The pub offers WiFi and is Cask Marque certified. The pub has an outdoor area for children to play. The car park has space for 32 vehicles.

We are planning to invest in the pub to enhance introducing a small function room and/or an overspill dining room with approximately 40 covers and with its own small bar alongside some feature fireplaces. The current trading area will have some small adjustments (as it is in great condition) and we are also introducing a covered courtyard giving additional space to trade all year (20-30 covers). The outside will also be updated.

The domestic accommodation is very spacious with three en-suite bedrooms, a kitchen and a lounge.

This village pub is located on a busy road (with regular passing trade), and is also just a mile from the pretty market town of Newport and half an hour's drive from Shrewsbury, Telford and Wolverhampton. Edgmond is the largest parish in Telford and Wrekin, with close to 2,000 residents - including those from the other villages that make up the parish. Community is active here, with St Peter's Church hosting an annual event where the congregation links arms around the church. Newport is also a thriving town with independent shops, regular markets, and a main supermarket. It hosts an annual festival.

This pub is a lovely destination pub and we are seeking a publican who offers a great customer experience and enjoys building relationships with local families and visitors.You will be confidentin managing an evolving food offer and marketing calendar andwill have passion for offering a welcoming environment and the ability to motivate a team.
