Cost Controller - NEW OPENING - The Hoxton, Southwark

We are looking for a Cost Controller to be part of our team for the brand new The Hoxton, Southwark, set to open this summer.

The Hoxton, Southwark will be our latest addition to The Hoxton family, and our third in London, only a skip & a hop away from the South Bank. There’ll be something for everyone: 192 rooms, a bustling ground-floor restaurant, bar and terrace, The Apartment (our unique meeting & events space, a stunning roof-top restaurant and bar with indoor and outdoor seating PLUS our brand-new coworking space spread over six floors. It’s going to be quite something!

What you’ll do…

Play a crucial role in the Pre-opening team of the most exciting opening in 2019!

Support the Operations team across the hotel including– 2 restaurants, 2 bars, event space and coworking space

Manage the inventories, cost efficiencies and revenue stream of the F&B outlets

Implement and analyse KPIs and weekly reporting for each F&B outlet

Make sure all our financial processes run smoothly and keeping an eye on how we could keep improving ways of working

Help prepare monthly reporting, and participate in running external audits

Reporting directly to the Finance Manager

Work with the rest of team on keeping things spic & span and running smoothly

What we’re looking for…

2-3 years hotel finance experience

A strong understanding of compliance, best practice hotel operations and standard systems

Prepared to get your hands dirty during the preopening period

Passion for hospitality – you’re all about creating memorable experiences for others, be they guests or colleagues

You’re not precious. We leave our egos at the door and help get shit done

You’re up for doing things differently and trying (almost) everything once
