Your roleAs Assistant Restaurant Manager, you will work alongside the Restaurant Manager, managing the restaurant and make sure the day to day operations are up to standard; you will be coaching and developing your team of professionals and make sure they receive the correct training. You will be interacting with your guests; handling their requests, needs and inquiries, and most importantly ensuring they leave with a smile on their face.You will be expected to maintain the company standards of hygiene, health & safety, and ensuring that your team does as well.Do you have what it takes to be an Assistant Restaurant Manager at The StandardWhile we take every detail of design and guest experience seriously, we do not take ourselves too seriously. ‘Standard People’ are at the heart of our brand; vivid, dynamic and engaging. You’ll intrinsically understand the unique microcosm and the context of our venues and city you represent.While prior experience as an Assistant Restaurant Manager is always useful all are welcome at the Standard; you will have however an uncompromised and natural flair for service and be able to build genuine relationships with guests that enable us to not only preempt needs but foresee desires. In addition to this you will also need….- A proven track record in a similar Assistant Restaurant Manager or F&B Supervisor role with the ability to inspire and motivate a team, ideally gained in a similar ‘Lifestyle’, destination restaurant or boutique hotel sector
- Highly motivated and pro-active; act with professionalism and positivity in all interactions
- Ability to develop and deliver effective training to maintain consistent service standards throughout your team
- Opening experience preferred
- Experience with squirrel POS, open table and Fourth HR
