PR Manager - Mayfair, Central London

Gaucho has an exciting opportunity to join our Head Office team as a PR Manager!

What the role will entail:

  • Working with the Brand/Marketing Director to implement the annual PR strategy across the Gaucho group of restaurants
  • Delivering creative, timely, clever PR campaigns to drive awareness and positive brand positioning across the group 
  • Taking ownership of and delivering a stellar annual consumer PR activity calendar
  • Resuming the role of the PR agency (we are looking to bring PR in house via this well connected candidate)
  • Driving positive, high volume, effective PR campaigns which are targeted and wide reaching 
  • Creating, drafting and selling-in consumer press releases 
  • Taking the brand into new, previously unexplored consumer media channels to support target markets and new audiences 
  • Bringing and developing journalist/media contacts across all media spectrums
  • Evaluating media campaigns
  • Copy writing press releases
  • Working on campaigns with the marketing team aimed at driving positive awareness and high profile press coverage

Requirements 

  • Day to day you'll be responsible for co-ordinating and delivering a consumer PR programme, managing media, dealing with food bloggers and influencers to develop opportunities that secure positive outcomes.
  • Reporting into the brand and marketing director, you will sit amongst the marketing team and will work across operations, marketing and with senior management in the business 
  • Management of the PR and influencer function of the businesses, including responding to press enquiries for filming, imagery and all other media assets
  • Drafting copy for all communication channels
  • Effective communication of marketing plans, promotions and activities

Responsibilities

  • Planning publicity strategies and campaign
  • Writing and producing presentations and press releases
  • Dealing with enquiries from the public, the press, and related organisations
  • Organising and attending promotional events such as press conferences, open days, exhibitions, tours and visits
  • Speaking publicly at interviews, press conferences and presentations
  • Providing information about new promotional opportunities and current PR campaigns progress
  • Analysing media coverage and reporting on it
  • Liaising with clients, managerial and journalistic staff about budgets, timescales and objectives

What we expect 

  • Must be an extremely well connected PR expert with enviable contacts in London and regionally (UK wide)
  • Experience working agency and client side is a preference 
  • Ability to work in a fast faced, challenging environment 
  • Innate ability to multi task, be super organised and efficient 
  • Work to deadlines
  • Work as part of a team to deliver the desired results 
  • Must be a confident networker with an already enviable black book of the best contacts
