Description

The Liverpool location will have a restaurant, cocktail bar, grab & go offering, beer garden , night club and a large co-working space that will the full responsibility of the Food and Beverage Manager

The F&B Manager is responsible for the food and beverage business within Selina- from roll-out of global/country initiatives, to property differentials. This position is accountable for the business results of F&B (cost control, inventory management, pricing) as well as implementing and complying with food and kitchen H&S regulations.

Most of your responsibilities are (but not limited to):

  • Manage staff task distribution and performance
  • Manage staff schedule, payroll, LOAs and needs.
  • Support staff training and ensure training happens
  • Ensure staff follows system procedures and operating protocols
  • Manage kitchen, bar and playground operations
  • Ensure safety and proper food handling in kitchen
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Maintain up-to-date inventories of kitchen and bar supplies
  • Control kitchen and playground costs
  • Monitor revenue and implement actions to improve revenue
  • Analyse dish and drinks quality and costing periodically
  • Manage changes to menu in coordination with global F&B
  • Ensure playground service is according to guidelines
  • Be an escalation point for guest issues
  • Monitor and manage playground and kitchen budget
  • Fill in required reports for managed areas
  • Analyse F&B performance reports, plan and execute improvement actions
  • Report on incidents and situation
  • Coordinate F&B requirements for events, including staffing


Qualified candidates must be able to demonstrate:

Education (preferred)

  •  Degree in Restaurant Management or Business Administration

 Knowledge

  • Inventory management
  • Health and Safety Regulations
  • POS Systems
  • F&B Costing
  • Budget management

Experience

  • Minimum 3 years in F&B operations
  • Minimum 5 years of management Experience

Skills & Abilities

  • Customer Service
