JobSummary

Servefood courses and alcoholic beverages to guests. Answer questions on menuselections. Communicate with the kitchen regarding menu questions, the lengthof wait, re-cook orders, and product availability. Follow cycle time guidelinesfor all meals. Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the day.Communicate additional meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs, and specialrequests to the kitchen. Inspect the cleanliness and presentation all china,glass, and silver prior to use. Monitor and maintain the cleanliness ofassigned tables including ensuring courses are cleared and tables are properlycrumbed. Communicate with guests and other employees and ensure staff isworking together as a team to ensure optimum service.

Assistsupervisors and management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating,counselling, disciplining, and motivating and coaching employees; and serve asa role model. Follow all company and safety and security policies andprocedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager.Ensure uniform and personal appearance is clean and professional, maintainconfidentiality of proprietary information, and protect company assets. Welcomeand acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipate and addressguests' service needs, and thank guests with genuine appreciation. Speak withothers using clear and professional language. Support team to reach commongoals. Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards. Perform otherreasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.

Completeclosing duties, including storing all reusable goods, breaking down goods,cleaning all equipment and areas, returning equipment to proper locations,locking refrigerators, restocking items, turning off lights, locking doors, andcompleting daily cleaning checklist. Set up, stock, and maintain work areas.Inspect the cleanliness and presentation of all china, glass, and silver priorto use. Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the day, practicingclean-as-you-go procedures.

Followall company and safety and security policies and procedures; report anymaintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries; complete safetytraining and certifications. Ensure uniform and personal appearance are cleanand professional. Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protectcompany assets. Support all co-workers and treat them with dignity and respect.Support team to reach common goals. Comply with quality assurance expectationsand standards. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing lessthan or equal to 50 pounds without assistance. Stand, sit, or walk for anextended period of time or for an entire work shift. Read and visually verifyinformation in a variety of formats (e. g., small print). Grasp, turn, andmanipulate objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills andhand-eye coordination. Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending,twisting, pulling, and stooping. Move over sloping, uneven, or slipperysurfaces and steps. Move up and down stairs and/or service ramps. Welcome andacknowledge all guests according to company standards. Speak with others usingclear and professional language, and answer telephones using appropriateetiquette. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.
