We need a driven & committed individual to take on the role of Sports Officer at our vibrant sports centre, assisting the Duty Manager in the day to day operation & development of the SportsPark.
You will require excellent customer service and communication skills as well as being conscientious in your work within a small team. In addition to daily operational and cleaning tasks you will be able to step up as Duty Manager when required leading the team.
Main duties and responsibilities
- To assist the Duty Manager in the implementation of daily operational procedures ensuring the delivery of a high standard of customer service in all areas of SportsPark’s.
- To assist the Duty Manager in training and developing assistants and receptionists giving feedback and guidance.
- To regularly step up as Duty Manager when required undertaking full facility management following procedures, work practices and staff management.
- To undertake specific projects or areas of responsibility.
- Set up, inspect and maintain equipment and facilities within and around SportsPark.
- To supervise and undertake cleaning as necessary, ensuring a high level of cleanliness is maintained.
- Conduct regular patrol duties within and around SportsPark.
- Ensure effective lines of communication operate with all work colleagues.
- Assist with all aspects of the day to day running of SportsPark, including administration.
- When required, to be able to travel to our Bulmershe campus to manage the sports facilities.
- Perform all reasonable duties as requested.
