Apprentice Technician - Wyllyotts Theatre, Potters Bar

£9,838 - £10,140 per annum (Dependent on age)

Full time (39 hours)

Wyllyotts is a very busy 420 seat multi-purpose venue with a strong dedicated management team.

We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our growing technical department, to oversee our busy film programme, amateur hires and pantomime run.

Candidates should:

• Have a good understanding / respect for electricity
• Have a head for heights (prior use of tallescope desirable)
• Be physically fit
• Be able to work some evenings and weekends
• Be able to work individually or as part of a team
• Be able to operate a ETC ION lighting desk or Yamaha LS9 sound desk (Training provided)

What the job requires:

• Help setup and dismantle touring shows
• Rig and focus theatrical lighting
• Operate (follow spot / sound desk / lighting desk) during a show
• Help with the Wyllyotts Maintenance program

Full training will be given.
