Trading Assistant – Spirits

Based at Asda House in Leeds

About the role:

We have a vacancy for the Trading Assistant role in the exciting and fast-paced area of Spirits. You will be responsible for managing a large supply base made up of both branded and own label suppliers, where relationship building is key.
You will need to have a keen eye for detail and be able to prioritise a large workload whilst ensuring everything is completed accurately and efficiently. You will be completing tasks such as running daily sales and profit reports, general admin and providing marketing support.
Spirits is a high profile category in the business and plays a fundamental part in driving the sales line through seasonal events and Christmas. You will be an integral part of the team with plenty of opportunity to develop your trading skills.

What you’ll be responsible for:

Promotional change management

Ensuring SKU’s are listed correctly on the system

Retail & Cost Changes

Co-ordinating supplier billing

Data Analysis

Resolving store & supplier queries

Maintaining accurate admin
