Social Media and Marketing Executive- Based in London Bridge

In addition to over 90 dynamic venues offering mainstream & specialist sports and leisure, the business has also developed some exciting new brands such as INTENCITY (HIIT fitness studio concept) Total Football (5 a side league venue), Bickel’s Yard (proprietary café concept), and has a pipeline of innovation development.

Job purpose

This role requires someone with at least 3 years’ experience to join us as Social Media & CRM Executive who is a self-starter that can work closely with the Campaign Marketing Manager and Digital Marketing manager to help deliver a comprehensive social media and CRM strategy. We’re looking for someone creative and entrepreneurial, who can work independently and as part of a wider team. We’d like to find someone who has a creative background with proven graphic design skills and who also has a strong understanding of social media and content creation.

Main tasks & responsibilities

• Full ownership and accountability for Scheduling, composing and posting content across all social media channels, owning the monthly content calendar and reporting across Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Google+, YouTube and other social media channels
• Creation of relevant and engaging social and online content
• Work with Content Originator/Agency to create centrally driven online content and templates for local social media content.
• Review venue posts and content and help guide the venues to use central activity plan
• Proactively responding to customer queries and comments on social channels, liaising with general managers to resolve issues
• Create and manage email marketing/CRM in line with the trade plans and strategy
• Ensuring the database is segmented effectively for targeted marketing and customer touch points to maximise opportunities.
• Developing testing strategies for all aspects of the CRM.
• Undertaking art working and graphic design tasks
• Designing digital collateral including on-line banners, social media images, animated gifs etc.
• Assist with internal communication
• Ensure all content is accurate, up-to-date, brand-appropriate and in line with the trade plans and strategy
• Track, monitor and create timely reports that include analysis and tracking across social media platforms 
• Monitor competitor activity and be knowledgeable in industry best practice. keep on file best practice
• Test and implement new technologies to aid in campaign optimisation.
• Support the wider marketing team in Digital implementation during key events and campaigns.

Skills and experience

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a social media role, with multi-site experience
• Experienced in using Hootsuite and other Social Media broadcasting software
• Experience in using ESP systems such as Dotmailer and Hubspot
• Proven track record of delivering successful social media campaigns
• Sound knowledge of managing data, interpreting results
• Analytical driven
• Natural aptitude for presenting information in a compelling way
• Superb communications skills and understanding of customer marketing
• Impeccable organisation, communication skills and excellent written and spoken English are a necessity
• You have a proven ability to work to deadlines and manage multiple projects
• Ability to juggle and thrive in a fast pace, reactive environment
• Planning and time management
• Ability with Photoshop
• Excellent IT skills, including MS Office
• Solutions-focused team player
• Interpersonal & relationship skills
