We are currently recruiting for a Customer Service Advisor based in Suffolk, our leisure centre boasts of top of the range facilities including Gym, pools, Studios, Sports Hall, Squash Courts, , Health Suite, Cycling Studio, Café’s, Children’s play area and even Sauna and a Steam room.

What your role will be

For this position you will be signing up members of the public for new memberships with the Leisure Centre. We are looking for someone who is passionate about fitness, and inspiring others to be too.  You will deliver excellent customer service to our customers.

This role will be based in the Leisure Centre, and within the community carrying out promotional work - this could be at stands in public places, fitness expo’s or even spreading the word to passers-by. You will deliver a high level of customer service, in a people facing role, where you will be required to answer questions and give advice on the latest gym equipment or the latest exercise class.

The shift times will be a mix of earlies, mid’s or late’s which are set to cover the office opening hours which are Monday to Thursday 9:00am - 9pm, Friday 0900am – 5pm with one weekend in 3, you will work on a 3-week rolling rota.

Your background

The successful applicant will have experience of working within a customer service focussed position. You will need excellent communication skills as you will be required to liaise with external and internal customers/staff. Ideally you will be able to demonstrate at interview your excellent customer service skills and experience.
