The Role

We are looking for a highly enthusiastic, entrepreneurial and creative Assistant Club Manager.

The Assistant Club Manager a key role in Snap Fitness clubs, responsible for supporting the overall day to day management of all operations. Working closely with the club manager, the position will have full accountability and authority for all operational aspects and management of staff, including sales, marketing and general administration under the supervision of the Club Manager.

Key Responsibilities

Membership Sales & Retention

  • Driving club growth through quality membership sales
  • Increasing member retention through member engagement

Marketing & Community Activities

  • National and local area marketing planning and execution
  • Generation of community focused initiatives

Maintaining best practice

  • Club operations & high quality customer care
  • Maintaining club presentation to the highest possible standards
  • Maintaining equipment functionality and servicing

Management of Personal Trainers & Group Fitness instructors 

  • Assistance in marketing and development of personal trainers
  • Maintenance of weekly Group Fitness timetable

Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate:

  • Extensive sales and marketing experience with a track record on setting and delivering on both financial and operational targets
  • Outstanding customer service and people skills – ability to build and nurture relationships with the local community, customers and team members
  • Proven experience of successfully managing and leading teams
  • Strong problem solving skills and have a strong attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal, time-management and organisation skills
  • Genuine interest and passion with the fitness industry, growing trends and influencers
  • Experience of designing and teaching classes to a high level is preferred but not essential
  • Self-driven with a positive attitude and a clear focus on delivering a first class member experience
  • Tertiary qualifications in health (Level 3 REPS Certification), business or commerce or strong business acumen will be highly regarded but not essential
  • First Aid Certificate
