Scope of Job:
To assist the head chef in effectively managing the Splash landings kitchen inline with all relevant H&S and environmental health legislation. Assist with managing the team including, sickness, holiday, and service. Overall to head the kitchen team in order for the outlet to run effectively.
Key Objectives:
To ensure a high standard of food quality and delivery to our guests through managing team of kitchen hosts. To run to kitchen according to the food safety laws and ensure all team members are sufficiently trained.
Main Responsibilities:
- To ensure a high level of food quality is delivered to our guests consistently.
- To assist the manager in ensuring health and hygiene practices are in place including weekly hygiene audits, accurate temperature recordings and cleaning schedules.
- To follow and enforce all food safety polices and procedures as per the food and beverage department and complete training records for the team.
- To ensure wastage is kept to a minimum and recorded accurately.
- To order products, using a computerised ordering system.
- To manage the team in all areas and ensure accurate recording on documentation i.e Absence, poor performance.
