Assistant Food & Beverage Manager – Full Time

The Oxfordshire Golf Hotel & Spa – Thame, Oxfordshire

Based in a stunning countryside location on the outskirts of Oxford, The Oxfordshire is a 4 Star Hotel, Golf club and Spa that is looking to appoint an Assistant Food and Beverage Manager to work within the F&B Management team. The Assistant Food and Beverage Manager is a key appointment, who will report directly into the F&B/Operations Manager. With a keen eye for detail, you will be able to ensure that the service standards exceed guest expectations, whilst delivering service in a professional and friendly manner at all times.   You will also be able to work well under pressure, whilst maintaining exceptional customer care skills and work effectively as a team player.

Assistant F&B Manager Key Responsibilities:

  • In conjunction with the F&B Manager, develop the team through continuous training, communication and motivation to maximise their potential and the success of the operation.
  • Guest satisfaction is key and evaluation of this will be used to ensure the high standards are being maintained; making recommendations to the F&B Manager where necessary.
  • Liaise with the Head Chef, F&B & Operations Managers and team to ensure that the agreed standards of food presentation and service are maintained consistently.
  • To maximise any opportunities for increasing the revenue in the Food and Beverage outlets.
  • Assume Duty Management shifts as required.
  • Maintain excellent communication and working relationships with all departments.
  • Qualifications & Experience:

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Previous Food and Beverage Management experience;
  • A have working experience of Micros.

Working hours will be worked 5 days out of 7 (on a rota basis), and will be subject to business requirements.
