At the Grand Central Hotel, we are recruiting for an Assistant Restaurant Manager within our 4*, Scottish dinning, Tempus Restaurant. This is a fantastic opportunity for a strong Assistant Manager or Senior Supervisor ready for their next challenge who will be a major support to the Restaurant Manager during a time of refurbishment within the Restaurant.

We are looking for someone for who is outgoing, confident and holds the essential experience and knowledge to support the Tempus Restaurant Manager. You will thrive in a fast-paced, diverse Restaurant or Dining environment.

Your day to day

As the Assistant Restaurant Manager, you will have essential experience in the following areas;

• A previous Assistant Manager Role or proven experience within a strong Supervisor Role in a Quality Hotel Restaurant
• Managing staff rotas on a weekly and monthly basis
• Team Training delivery, statistics and both long and short-term planning
• Private Dining, Customer Care and Mystery Guest experience
• Service Quality Assurance planning
• Stocking levels in line with Liquor Targets

What we need from you

Desired experience in;

• Experience in a similar role or a minimum of 18 months in a strong Supervisory position within 4/5* hotel or High-end restaurant.
• Familiar in payroll and stock control
• Training delivery to the team
