Recreation Assistant - Lifeguard

We are currently recruiting for a Recreation Assistant - Lifeguard

Recreation Assistant roles are a great way to start your leisure career with the aim to progress into Duty Manager roles and beyond!We can offer a fantastic working environment and are looking to recruit NPLQ qualified lifeguards who are committed and reliable to join us at Kingsmead Leisure Centre 

 If you’re not currently qualified we also have training schemes in place for applicants, if you can demonstrate the right attitude and pass a swim test to have your NPLQ course fully funded.

Some of your duties will include:

• Supervising the pool, keeping our bathers and members safe
• Ensuring Health and safety is at the forefront of all that you do
• Keeping the pool side and changing areas clean and tidy
• Looking after our customers - ensuring all visitors have a great experience every time they visit
• Attending monthly training sessions to keep your knowledge and fitness levels at the required standard
