Description

Sales:

Uncover local/national opportunities to bring new customers to Selina and increase their spend on location. 

Location sales are responsible for delivering on the country strategy to achieve sales goals, creation and execution of local sales plan and coordination of sales for their location(s).

Your mission is to bring in new sales across all product lines, as well as develop relationships optimise the amount of revenue per customer. In addition to bedroom revenue, we want you to look at bringing in customers from outside of the property to experience our F&B, co-working, retail and explore products.

Marketing:

Develop & Implement the internal & external communication aligned with the Brand guidelines.

Most of your responsibilities are (but not limited to):

Sales

  • Deliver on sales goals for all products (accommodation, F&B, Explore, Cowork, Wellness)
  • Manage, retain and grow established customers (individual) and groups (group business)
  • Uncover new sales opportunities with local corporations, DMC’s, travel agents/operators, groups and meetings
  • Work with Selina teams to establish local partnerships to drive location revenue including events and sponsorship
  • Cross-selling of products (i.e. Explore products to other businesses locally)
  • Upselling and cross-selling in location to optimize revenue per customer
  • Provide sales guidance and assistance across location so everyone is supporting the revenue generation efforts (reception, F&B employees etc.)
  • Coordinate with product teams to ensure the right mix for location e.g. do we have the right amount of Retail space and products
  • Local group quoting and operational support for groups
  • Oversee the customer experience for fam trips, and educational visits for customers
  • Create a sales plan and forecast for the location
  • Provide sales reporting to head of country, and regional sales director tracking progress against targets, successes, and challenges
  • Use CRM to log activity, opportunities and closed/won deals

 Marketing 

  • Manage local public relations and influencers
  • Promote the Selina brand, experience, and services to drive sales and revenue in all products (beds, co-work, tours, wellness, education, retail).
  • Create, manage and execute the location’s marketing plan in accordance with brand guidelines and in partnership with Country and Global Marketing
  • Coordinate the location’s social media management and promotional materials
  • Manage sales and marketing budget.
  • Create new communication channels/ guerrilla marketing around the location to promote events, products.
  • Make sure the location has all the materials on Brand( Menus, communication boards, etc).
  • Responsible for negotiating sponsorship's around the location.
  • Responsible for all the picture & content inside the location for OTAs and Social Media.

Qualified candidates must be able to demonstrate:

Education (preferred)

  •  Degree in Sales, Marketing or Business Administration

 Knowledge

  • Local hospitality market
  • Hotel revenue management
  • Hospitality sales
  • Tour Operations
Microsoft office
  • Forecasting and budgeting
  • English proficiency and local language.
  • Social Media Metrics.
Experience
  • Minimum 3 years in sales management
  • Marketing management
  • Public Relations management
  • Experience in sales in hospitality.
  • Manage Social Media & design agencies.
