We are currently looking for a Deputy Manager to join the Spirit Health Club at the Holiday Inn Eastleigh. With over 300 users per day, we are a busy club, and our team members need to ensure that the highest standards of hospitality and customer service are demonstrated at all times to our members and guests.

The role covers all areas of operation of the Health Club facility, and involves a wide and varied range of tasks including:-

• Fitness instruction
• Exercise programme writing
• Group exercise instruction
• Reception work, meeting and greeting customers and telephone handling
• Enquiry handling, membership sales and club tours
• Maintaining the appearance and cleanliness of the club
• Assist with control and maintenance of weekly figures, stock control, sales reports and the monthly profit/loss statement
• Helping to manage, develop and train the team
• Assume total responsibility of the club in the absence of the Spirit Health Club Manager

The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate that they can multi task effectively, be enthusiastic and positive in their nature and have excellent interaction and customer service skills. An NVQ/degree (or equivalent) in a Health & Fitness related discipline and previous experience in the industry is essential.

All Fitness Instructors will be required to complete First Aid at Work and Pool Attendant qualifications within 3 months. Level 3 Personal Training qualified staff will also be able to offer Personal Training at the club to gain further remuneration.
