The aim of this role is to help provide a professional, safe and clean environment for employees to achieve sustainable positive changes in their lifestyle and wellbeing. This role will focus on the operational performance and health and safety requirement of the facility, ensuring an excellent overall knowledge of working systems and activities offered.

As an expert in operations, you will ensure all activities and facilities available to members are safe, effective, modern and delivered to the high standards expected. This will be delivered through leading industry knowledge and in line with our proposition, UK Health & Safety legislation and Nuffield Health's code of conduct, policies and procedures.

There will be a requirement to partake in one weekly gym floor shift and 2 - 3 duty manager shifts

  • Responsible for managing the operational relationships within the building, including but not limited to Building Operations, Business Services, Engineering, Fire and Life Safety and Health and Safety
  • Deliver a clean and safe environment for all members
  • Responsible for the effective logging, completion and escalations of all operational issues, escalating to the client when appropriate to do so
  • Complete all administration tasks to deadline.
  • Responsible for the daily operation of the facility ensuring all SSOW, NOP, EAP, and RAs are adhered to.
  • Proactively manage the facility supporting both client services and the fitness team through appropriate allocation of resources based on member demand, usage and work load.
  • Act as a first point of call for onsite team and all members particularly on complaint handling, operational and health and safety issues and HR.
  • Responsible for efficient and safe delivery of fitness services based on Nuffield model and accredited Fitness Industry recommendations.
  • Proactively support all members to reach their goals and encourage retention of membership.
