Main role and objectives:

As our Meetings and Events Floor Manager you are, under the general guidance of the Meetings and Events Operations Manager, responsible for overseeing the Events team and striving to exceed standards ensuring total guest satisfaction.

Your responsibilities:

- Ensure smooth running of the Meetings and Events department on a day to day basis with effective communication within and between departments  

- To maintain at all times a direct contact with clients and ensure the organizers are met and introduced to the hotel and its facilities. Any comments by the guests have to be logged and communicated with your superior. To respond to any client’s need in a professional and prompt manner.

- To maintain effective communication within the team and to attend hotel meetings and training sessions when required.

-To strive to anticipate client’s needs wherever possible and to react to these to enhance client’s satisfaction. Ensure all customer requests are responded to promptly and effectively

- To give full co-operation to any colleagues requiring assistance in a friendly and helpful manner.

- To ensure all function requirements are constantly up-dated and a close work relationship between Sales and Operations is maintained. To attend the weekly M&E function sheet meeting when possible.

- Someone with previous Management experience within a Meetings and Events environment

- Someone who is passionate about exceeding guest expectations

- Someone who is great at creating and maintaining positive and productive working relationships across the business, communicating effectively in a range of situations

- A Manager who is passionate about engaging, inspiring and developing their team

- Someone who enjoys working in a fast paced environment while leading from the front
