We are currently recruiting for highly motivated, hard working and conscientious individuals to join our Spa Cleaning Team.  We are interested in people who take pride in their work, who can follow instruction and communicate openly, whilst maintaining a keen eye for attention to detail. 

The work that the Spa Cleaner’s undertake can be quite physical so we are looking for team members who can cope with the demanding workload whilst always maintaining the extremely high standards set by our Senior Spa manager. The Spa cleaner is responsible for all aspects of cleaning service within the SPA in the Walled Garden and reports directly to the Senior Spa Manager who will be responsible for their training and monitoring of their work.

You must be happy to comply with our strict company dress and appearance policy, and you must be able to listen effectively and follow instructions that are given as well as being trustworthy and discrete. You will be asked to work as part of a team as well as well as being able to use your own initiative and work individually.

You will be expected to work 4 shifts per week but may be asked to work more to cover periods of holiday.  Shifts are usually on Rota, however you must be available to work any day when required by the department.

To be successful for this role it is essential that you hold a full UK driving license and have your own vehicle to get you to and from Loch Lomond Golf Club, please consider this before applying as we are unable to accept applications from anyone who cannot meet this requirement.

Role:

• To clean all areas of the Spa in an effective and efficient manner
• Reporting directly to the Senior Spa Cleaner, you will play an active role as part of the Spa team
• Develop and review cleaning standards with in the Spa, followed by implementing the changes through training.
• Identify and propose relevant training opportunities with a view to developing personal knowledge  
• Monthly report on Spa standards should be communicated to Senior Spa Manager.
• You must be comfortable and accustomed to lone working.
• To be confident in operation of industrial cleaning equipment
• To dispose of waste in the correct manner.
• Report and record faults with in the Spa on the maintenance log.
• Ensure the secure and safe keeping of stock, goods and equipment, ensuring that stock is accounted for and that control procedures are complied with
• To maintain a high degree of interest and self-development, displaying this by making suggestions for realistic improvements
• Comply with any reasonable request by the management

Person:

• Applicants must hold a full UK drivers license and you must be able to get to the golf club on your own accord without relying on public transport due to our rural location
• You must be physically fit due to the demanding nature of this role
• No previous housekeeping experience is required however you must provide evidence of a role where the emphasis has been on team working
• An exceptional eye for detail is required due to the service levels required
• You must be available to work any day of the week
• You must be happy to comply with our strict company dress and appearance policy
• You must be available to work from March to October.
• You must have a high degree of flexibility with regards to shifts that can be worked.
