Reception Manager

The Reception Manager Role:

The Receptionists at Tylney Hall are second to none and aim to give the most hospitable welcome in the UK! They are the hub of the hotel and communicate information to staff and guests whilst maintaining the highest level of discretion. Preparing accommodation and meal bills accurately for the guests and ensuring that the system balances at the end of your shift. You will need to be well presented and able to adapt to requests and situations as they arise. You will remain calm under pressure have the ability to multi-task.

Key skills and Responsibilities:

• Be a highly organised individual who is happy to work a flexible rota - this area of the hotel is open every day of the week for long hours.
• The rota is 5 days out of 7 and made of mostly early and late shifts.
• The role will involve working at weekends and on bank holidays.
• Communicate and plan effectively with other departments
• Able to provide a high level of customer service.
• Previous experience of managing a reception team & support development of personnel
• Be commercially aware.
• Have your own transport as we are in a rural location.
