Bolton, with expected additional travel

Permanent, Full time

£35,000 - £40,000 (depending on experience) + bonus + benefits

Role Purpose - Head of Talent

To embed a high-performance culture that delivers growth for both the business and its people by defining and delivering innovative and high-quality recruitment, training, engagement and operational agenda. It will suit someone very hands-on who has a clear view on what 'world-class' looks like. The perfect candidate will be positive, action oriented and results driven but who is also a role model for behaviour in the business. High emotional intelligence combined with a strong commercial and business focus will be key to success.

 

Responsibilities of our Head of Talent:

Align the people plan to business goals and define key initiatives which will deliver improved performance Lead the business to recruit, train and develop their teams Embed learning and development across the business defining new and innovative ways to build skill and capability to develop our teams Ownership of the onboarding process Lead on talent and succession planning, working closely with departmental managers to drive capability development and retention through growth Direct line management of the recruitment team 

Requirements of our Head of Talent:

Exceptional communication skills together with proven leadership capabilities Proactive team player with problem-solving skills Self-motivated and able to work under own autonomy or as part of a team Experience of delivering training across a multi-site business is desirable
