Xercise4Less are looking for an enthusiastic Solutions Architect to deliver IT application and cloud designs, future state blueprints, roadmaps for execution and to lead on the governance/compliance process.

This is a newly created and exciting role as Xercise4Less grows from 52 clubs to 100 clubs and would be ideally suited to a Technical Lead looking for their next career move.

Responsibilities:

• Develop solution/application architecture along with associated roadmaps.
• Evaluate, design and deliver solutions centred on strategic reuse of building blocks.
• Validate technology solutions architecture and support the delivery of new solutions.
• Develop integrated roadmaps of change initiatives reflecting business demand and priority.
• Participate in development/maintenance of a comprehensive enterprise architecture, representative of current, transitional and target states

Skills / Experience:

• Experience within a multi-site business within retail or leisure would be ideal
• Experience as a solutions, application, infrastructure or technical architect
• Experience of establishing architecture standards across applications for customer facing web / mobile applications & internal system applications
• Experience as an architect across IT and business-led initiatives and projects within one or more of the following areas: cloud computing, servers and storage, networks, security and telephony or VDI and collaboration tools/architecture
• Experience of successfully delivering large or complex technology programmes and projects through the full lifecycle
• Experience of aligning architecture support to agile/iterative development teams/functions in an effective way
• Strong organisation skills, often juggling multiple priorities, and the ability to command respect from the existing team
