The Norbreck Castle features a Health & Fitness club, as well as other facilities including an arcade, cinema, Bar & Restaurant and 8 conference rooms catering for between 10 to 3000 delegates.

This large 487-bedroom Hotel boasts a 24-hour check in service and due to continued expansion, we are looking to recruit a full- time Maintenance Person/ Plumber onto the team. 

As Maintenance Person/ Plumber, you will be required to;

  • To assist Chief Engineer and Deputy Chief Engineer in their duties and to ensure smooth running of the hotel.
  • To liaise with Conference and Banqueting Department to ensure the smooth running and satisfactory completion of all functions, conferences and exhibitions held at the hotel.
  • To install audio – visual equipment to assist the smooth running of hotel functions.
  • To operate the in-house computer system and update the system on completion.
  • To undertake any reasonable requests as made by the Hotel’s Management.
  • To carry out duties in respect of their own specialist trade.

The successful candidate will have proven experience working within the field of maintenance & repairs. They must also have a keen attention to detail and the ability to take initiative when tackling problems. Experience of plumbing is essential for this role.
