Description

Sales

  • You will have responsibility for setting and executing a country based sales strategy to achieve revenue targets across all revenue stream (F&B, Explore, Accommodation, Cowork)
  • Budget forecasting for sales and provide weekly reporting against budget including successes and challenges
  • Manage, retain and grow existing customers
  • Grow sales through country specific OTA’s e.g. Enjoypanama.com, Offline: Tour operators, travel agents
  • Manage relations and revenue with DMO’s and local tourist board discussions e.g Visit Costa Rica
  • Local DMC and Incoming Tour Operators agreements (such as for Explore)
  • Manage and create new partnerships: companies and brands that Selina can work with to drive demand and revenue to the locations
  • Discussions with large in-country corporations (including Co-working)
  • Establish country cross selling practises between properties in country
  • Country events, trade shows (trade representation) and speaking opportunities
  • Provide sales reporting to head of country, and regional sales director tracking progress against targets, successes and challenges

 Marketing

  • Give support to the Marketing Supervisor at Location with the weekly and monthly events and activities. Promotion, design, etc. 
  • Responsible of managing the content on the web and social media of all locations asigned.
  • Supervise and form Marketing Supervisor at Locations about responding comments and reviews in OTS.
  • Manage the monthly and yearly marketing Budget for all the locations.
  • Keeping updated all the sales and tours materials from all the locations.
  • Build, inspire, and lead a best-in-class marketing national team.  
  • Implement and manage an omni-channel marketing strategy (both digital and traditional channels) to grow the size and lifetime value of Selina customer base.  
  • Execute our brand (messaging, positioning, and voice) and content strategy to share the Selina story through all relevant channels. 
  • Oversee and successfully execute all marketing campaigns from idea to execution at both the corporate and individual property levels. 
  • Prepare marketing, brand and related materials for other departments in organization. 
  • Work with other departments (including HR, operations, F&B and design) to ensure that the brand messaging plans are consistent throughout the organization and carried through the various touch points of the organization. 
  • Track and evaluate the performance of all marketing campaigns. 
  • Create and deliver campaign recaps, brand reporting, and recommendations for future execution. 
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with the Digital Product Development, Creative, and Content teams, and external agencies (creative, media, PR) to ensure all marketing efforts are consistent, on brand, and delivered on time. 
  • Develop and manage annual marketing budget and plan, detailing the year’s activity to meet agreed-upon company objectives. Report results regularly to the senior management team. 
  • Understand client (member hotel/hostel) needs/objectives, develop pitches, strategies and presentations to improve key performance metrics for member hotel/hostel and drive revenue by selling our current suite of digital online marketing products.
  • Recognize and contact local influencers and opinion leaders
What you need for the role
  • Fluency in English
  • Minimum of 3 years working in the marketing industry
  • Knowledge of the culture and the market from the country based in
  • Well versed in communication and marketing.
  • Able to work independently and creatively to close new sales opportunities
  • Able to work and collaborate in a matrix environment
  • Strong negotiation and relationship management skills
  • Experience in navigating a hospitality landscape/industry
  • Organised
  • Numeracy literacy/ revenue focused
  • Confident speaker
