Membership Advisor - Harpenden Sports Centre

24 - 32 hours a week

About your role

We need to recruit a new membership advisor who is enthusiastic, personable and effective in presenting the memberships and services available at our centre. As well as providing excellent customer service to all visitors, you’ll also be generating new interest in our Centre.  From keeping records updated to tele-activity, social media work, supporting reception and conducting centre tours, you’ll deliver excellent sales service.

You will be an ambassador for our Centre, promoting us at local events, within local businesses, outlets and using every opportunity available. Previous experience in a sales or a service role would be advantageous and we offer a comprehensive in-house sales training.

Applicants must be self-motivated and target-driven with a "can-do" attitude. You’ll possess great communication skills, IT skills, be organised and have a passion for sales.

Where you will work

Harpenden Sports Centre is situated in the scenic Rothamsted Park. The centre boasts a large 65 station gym overlooking the tranquil park surrounds, 2 aerobic studio consisting of 62 classes a week, an indoor sports arena hosting tennis, badminton, football and basketball  a crèche, trampolining and gymnastics just to name a few.
