Operations Manager - Lodore Falls Hotel & Spa Hotel
Who we are
Reporting to the General Manager you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the hotel operation and its people, with a minimum of 2 years’ proficiency in a similar role. With commercial accountability for budgeting and financial management, planning, and directing all hotel services, including front-of-house, food and beverage operations, and housekeeping.
While taking a strategic overview, and planning to maximise profits, you must also pay attention to the details, setting the example for staff to deliver a standard of service and presentation that meets guests' needs and exceed expectations
You will be conversant with
- Managing budgets and financial plans, as well as controlling expenditure
- Setting and achieving sales and profit targets
- Analysing sales figures and devising marketing and revenue management strategies
- Recruiting, training and monitoring staff
- Panning work schedules for individuals and teams
- Supervising maintenance, supplies, renovations, and furnishings; and dealing with contractors and suppliers
- Ensuring security is effective
- Ensuring compliance with licensing laws, food safety, health and safety and other statutory regulations.

Last year we opened a second restaurant with a Pan Asian theme and four Suites, Mizu Pan Asian restaurant, which offers high quality, fresh food with an Asian influence on British dishes and a brand new luxury Spa.
