Job Purpose:
To assist in the supply of sterile and/or disinfected medical devices to meet customer requirements.To collect and make deliveries of medical devices by car or van. To regularly check that equipment is in good working order and that faults are reported immediately to the appropriate personTo maintain a clean and tidy working environmentTo maintain accurate records / documentation in accordance with statutory and organizational policies and proceduresTo identify stock issues as they arise and advise line manager when stocks need to be re-orderedTo participate in team meetingsTo participate in rotational shift patterns to meet business requirementsTo collect and make deliveries of medical devices by van/carTo ensure all tachograph records are maintained correctlyTo receive and check delivery of medical devices from the customerTo input data to the Quality Management SystemTo participate in internal and external audits as required.Requirements for Post Educational:
Required:
A basic standard of general education with proven literacy and numeracy.Desirable:
Evidence of sterile services training Previous Knowledge, Skills and / or ExperienceA full driving licence (either C1 or pre 1997 licence) * Applicants must hold a valid Driver CPC cardExperience of driving vehicles fitted with a digital tachograph * Have a digital tachograph cardPreferred:
