About the role…

Reporting to and supporting, the central Marketing Managers (Digital Marketing Manager and Creative Marketing Manager) in the creation and management of multi-media marketing campaigns across our multi-site hotel, bar and restaurant Group in line with key sales, revenue & business objectives.

Some of the exciting responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with the development of campaign design and assets from conception to completion, including supplying updates, toolkits & presentations.
  • Support with the completion of property specific marketing activity
  • Assist in the development of the Group Digital Strategy through: CRM database management, growth & segmentation; email marketing, Google integration (use of Google Analytics, Tag Manager & Key Words): setup of Facebook Ads, PPC campaigns; reporting and property specific campaigns.
  • Assist in the development of creative collateral in line with the Groups various brands, including:
    • Management of the Group websites by developing new sections and pages, whilst ensuring this remain up to date
    • Supporting in the design and build of new websites using Wix & Wordpress
    • Develop creative web copy to ensure the Union website is interesting and engaging
    • Copywriting for a range of creative digital content including articles, newsletters, blog posts and social media posts
    • Drafting content and sourcing appropriate imagery for email campaigns
    • Undertake day to day administration of both Group and site social media accounts including Twitter, Facebook, Snapchat, Instagram, LinkedIn and YouTube; developing our online presence and introduce new platforms if appropriate
    • Content population on the custom booking engine
    • Supporting the team with online visibility and reputation management across key platforms including Google Business, TripAdvisor, Trivago & Revinate etc.
    • Keep up to date with Digital media trends and feed into overall Communications plan
    • Ensure all legislative and good practice requirements are met

About you…

We’re looking for someone with excellent communication skills who has the ability to work independently as well as part of a wider team. You’ll have good time management skills, be organised and have the ability to prioritise workload, along with fantastic customer service skills.

You’ll have an undergraduate degree (or studying towards) in a relevant subject area, such as marketing, PR, digital or a related discipline.

You’ll also have knowledge or experience in developing multimedia marketing and PR campaigns and know how social media can be used effectively to promote a business, particularly within Facebook and Twitter. Knowledge or experience of working with large data sets to support administrative duties is also relevant due to the size of our group.

Experience or knowledge of modifying web content using a content management system would be desirable.
